We offer a variety of Introductory Courses to introduce you to the concepts of acting and the basics of the craft.
Very Young Performers
Ages: 5-8, 6 weeks (9 hours)
Acting games, imagination and on-camera and auditioning development for younger Actors who are ready to get creative!
Camera Acting – Short Course
AGES: 9-18, 4 weeks (8 hours)
Ready to test the waters? This four week program is perfect as an introduction to acting for film and television and a good introduction to the respected, professional training we offer. We cover basic scene work and auditioning technique. It’s fast, fun and affordable and we know you’ll be eager for more!
Acting and Auditioning for Camera
AGES: 13-18, 9 Weeks (18 hours)
This single term program is built around a curriculum of on-camera acting and auditioning technique, developing the skills needed to give a truthful, believable performance, make smart character and scene choices, adapt to direction, listening and focus skills and much more.
Professional Acting Fundamentals
AGES: 9-18, 27 weeks (Introductory and Intermediate)
This is an ongoing training program for young people who want to pursue acting professionally and need the skills required to give a natural on-camera performance and prepare for and give a successful audition. Your work is recorded on DVD each week for personal review and at the end of the course, you will receive a three-scene DVD demo to use if you’re trying to find an agent or want to impress the one you already have.
Acting and Auditioning for Camera Langley
AGES: 9-18, 8 weeks (16 hours) (Introductory and Intermediate)
Back by popular demand this course is being offered in Langley in the TV Studio at Brookswood Secondary School, Langley.
Take this course to learn the ins and outs of acting and auditioning for camera or as a refresher course to keep up your acting skills.
