For almost 30 years, Tarlington Training has provided professional instruction to young people who are serious in their pursuit of a professional acting career. Tarlington Training is recognised and respected across Canada as a safe and supportive place where young actors can learn their craft.

In planning my retirement, I have been working for the last couple of years to ensure that Tarlington Training would continue into the future. Sadly, none of the collaborations explored has been successful.

I have loved the various roles I have played in B.C.’s film and TV industry (teacher, agent, acting coach and casting director) but my first love has always been working directly with actors. I look back with joy on my work with actors and celebrate their many successes. I have taken great pride in the achievements of the thousands of young actors who have studied their craft at Tarlington, knowing that the skills learned through our classes serve them not just as actors, but in every aspect of their lives.

On behalf of my fabulous staff and myself, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all my colleagues in the industry who have supported us over the years. To the many wonderful parents who have been a tremendous support, thank you. Most importantly I have to say thank you to the talented and committed young people who chose Tarlington as a place to learn their craft. I have learned much from them. It has been a wonderful experience.

See you in the movies,

Carole Tarlington
